Purchase & Refund Policy

Greater Story Publishing · The Gospel of the Firstborn · Firstborn Academy

Effective Date: October 15, 2026

1. Purchases covered

This policy covers direct Academy Digital Edition purchases from Greater Story Publishing, operated by Jacob Denys. These purchases use Stripe and are associated with your Academy account.

Amazon paperback, hardcover and Kindle orders are separate purchases governed by Amazon's applicable refund and return procedures.

2. Direct Digital Edition

The direct offer is a one-time payment for the digital book and the Firstborn Academy reading/listening experience described at purchase. It is not a subscription.

The preorder price is $4.99; the ordinary release price is $9.99, as displayed in the purchase offer. Preorder access begins October 15, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time.

Permanent Academy access means a non-expiring purchase entitlement associated with your account. It is not a subscription and does not guarantee perpetual hosting, uninterrupted availability or unchanged technology.

3. Standard 72-hour refund window

Direct Academy Digital Edition purchases have a 72-hour refund window.

For ordinary purchases, the window begins when payment is completed.

For preorders, the window begins October 15, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time. That 72-hour period ends October 18, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time.

Send your refund request to support@gospelofthefirstborn.com within the applicable window. Requests outside the standard window may be reviewed individually. This policy does not limit applicable consumer rights or remedies for content/access that cannot be delivered.

4. Requesting a refund

Use the subject Digital Edition Refund Request. Include the email associated with your purchase and, if available, the receipt/order reference so we can identify the transaction. Do not send passwords, full card numbers or security codes.

We may verify the purchase and requester. Refund requests are reviewed by customer support rather than automatically processed by the website.

Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method. The time until the funds appear depends on payment processing and your financial institution.

We will explain any resulting change to the refunded purchase's access and distinguish it from independently obtained book or invitation access.

5. Pre-release inquiries and checkout cancellation

For a preorder inquiry or cancellation request before release, contact support. Such requests will be reviewed individually, without limiting applicable legal rights.

Leaving or canceling an incomplete Checkout session is not a refund request for a completed payment. If you believe payment completed, contact support rather than relying only on the return page.

6. Duplicate or incorrect charges

Contact support if you believe you paid twice, used another account accidentally, or received an incorrect charge. We will review the transaction evidence and arrange an appropriate resolution. Do not make another purchase merely to resolve a delayed confirmation.

7. Access and delivery problems

For missing purchase access, downloads, login or activation problems, contact support. We will review the issue and seek to restore purchased access, provide reasonable alternative delivery where appropriate, or provide an applicable refund/remedy.

The standard refund window does not eliminate remedies required by law or claims that purchased content/access was not delivered.

8. Amazon purchases

Amazon paperback, hardcover and Kindle payments, cancellations, returns and refunds follow Amazon's applicable procedures. Request an Amazon-order refund through Amazon's order/help process.

Contact Firstborn Academy Support for Academy activation and technical assistance. Greater Story Publishing does not process an Amazon-order refund through its direct Stripe checkout.

9. Privacy and consumer rights

Marketing unsubscribe and privacy/deletion requests are separate from purchase refunds. No provision here limits non-waivable consumer rights.
